About Mel Achilles
Founder and Principal, LP Seven LLC
Mel brings more than a decade of experience in nonprofit operations, administration, compliance, and executive support. Her career began as a paralegal, building a strong foundation in legal and administrative systems, before moving into nonprofit and institutional operations.
Her experience includes serving as an Executive Assistant at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, working in senior operations at the Boston Women's Fund, and serving as Director of Operations for the New Commonwealth Fund. She founded LP Seven to provide organizations with the operational support leaders often need but don't always have the capacity or resources to maintain internally.
Her approach is simple: understand the organization, identify what isn't working, build the right systems, and stay close enough to the work to make sure those systems actually work.
